Tips for Crossing the Border
Border Crossing is easy if you follow these quick
tips:
- Take off sun glasses
- Turn off radio
- Roll down drivers and passengers windows
- Look customs officer in the eye
- Hand customs officer passports for everyone in vehicle (place in envelop for ease of transfer)
- Answer all questions asked
- Keep answers short, simple, and honest
- Declare all liquor, tobacco, and firearms if asked
- Be patient, respectful, and use good manners
