AS OF JUNE 1, 2009 ALL TRAVELERS TO CANADA NEED A PASSPORT TO RETURN TO U.S.A.
(Children 15 & under crossing by vehicle need only an original birth certificate)

An inexpensive passport card is now available for those only wanting to only drive to Canada.

• Roll down drivers and passengers windows
• Take off sun glasses
• Turn off radio
• Look at the customs officer in the eyes
• Have birth certificate and photo ID ready for the customs officer
• Answer all questions asked
• Keep answers short, simple, and honest
• Declare all liquor, tobacco, and firearms if asked
• Be patient, respectful, and use good manners
